Discuss "All In" here! CW official description:
CAT AND TESS INVESTIGATE THE VEHICULAR HOMICIDE OF AN IMMIGRATION JUDGE – Iris (Lara Jean Chorostecki), a Bosnian immigrant, is arrested on the suspicion of killing a judge for deporting her brother. Vincent (Jay Ryan) insists that Iris is innocent, so trusting his instincts, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) works behind-the-scenes to uncover the truth. When Cat’s actions disrupt the investigation, Joe (Brian White) places her on leave. Nevertheless, she continues on her own to discover that Iris is hiding a family secret, and needs Vincent’s help. JT (Austin Basis) is concerned that Vincent risks exposure to Murifield by helping Cat, leading Cat to work out a way to communicate with Vincent without seeking him out. P.J. Pesce directed the episode written by Jeff Rake. All In Promotional Stills via SpoilerTV

1.03 "All In" Just got done watching the full episode. I thought it was a very solid episode. Good storyline and it flowed well. The character development is strong and I loved the rapport between all the characters. The only one that I thought I would like more is JT.........he just needs to chill...too hostile for me. I understand he is protective of Vincent but I want to see a little bit lighter banter between them. A little LIGHTER sarcastic humor would be great here. I like the partnership with Tess and Catherine much better in this episode. I see the relationship growing closer and more "Cagney and Lacey"-esque. The relationship and scene with Catherine and her sister was better. A little stiff and fake in the last episode but much more sisterly in this episode. LOVE Catherine and Vincent in this episode........you can tell these two are more connected and they are relating on many different levels. LOVED the Beast-OUT scene. Catherine calmed him and it was well done. Kristin and Jay's performances are very strong and the emotions are realistic. Brian White is a good choice for Police Chief (?). He is almost too good looking......I think he needs to be less "perfect" . Evan is funny.......I almost want to see more of him with Catherine outside of the morgue. Love his accent. I liked how they used less narration. But what is really ANNOYING ME........all the scenes of NYC........I counted 9 this episode. I think there was more in the last episode so I decided to count these in this one. I think the scenes are beautiful and all but just too many. Please use less BaTB OK? You don't have to keep reminding us it is in NYC. Looking forward to tonight's episode......"Basic Instinct"...... Weeeee..........my first post!!

Thanks for the review, SuzieQ!
So true about the NYC establishing shots, IMO. Haha!
Also agree about lighter humor between the roommates.
Excited to see where this goes!

So....after watching the big argument between Vincent and Catherine outside the club .......I couldn't help but notice all the raw sexual tension!! ;D Yeah, there was all kinds of sparks flying all over the place!! I loved that Catherine said that she was "alone in all this" and Vincent said something like "join the club". I wonder if we will see these two fight like that again.....I kind of liked it!!
Also, Catherine mentions the word "risk" again on the fire escape. Which is a bit full circle in "Bridesmaid Up" when she makes her Wedding Toast about relationships and "worth the RISK"!
So two words that keep getting repeated as themes...."worth" and "risk"! I think we will hear it again in the second half of the season.
Will Catherine and Vincent see the worth in their relationship and take the risk to be together?

I loved the fight too and I think that's what will take these two to the next level another fight with flare! When she said she can't go to his place but he can show up at her crime scene. She can't call him but JT has his number".... I felt like she was asking asking for her place in his life...go Cat demand!!
That argument had a lot of heart in it...and the rain always add to sexual tension!

I came home just in time to set this episode to record. I didn't even know that "BATB" was coming on tonite. I should have checked ahead of time. I haven't seen this episode so I am looking forward to watching it perhaps this weekend.

Perhaps another fight will lead to that improper kiss we all have been hearing so much about.

I too loved the fight scene, even back then they were already having couple-like fights...I also thought it was very sexy and yes, there was lots of sexual tension in those scenes. I want to see more fighting/arguing from them too....they are too cute when they do. I love watching the old episodes, and I even DVR'd last nights because you actually the see the progression of their relationship up until 1.9...very fun to watch!

I watched this episode again and started to dissect a few things. I loved the scene where Catherine asks Vincent if he has been following her. ;D I loved his expression and Catherine's reaction wasn't like " What? creeper" it was more like surprised and kinda liked the idea of knowing he was keeping tabs. Any scene with all three of them is just awesome. When Vincent took out his phone to call JT for medication and Catherine's like " you have a phone?", it's like finding out your best friends went to watch a movie without inviting you or something along those lines. Feeling left out. Which brings me to the favorite rain scene of their argument. I loved the scene because it showed a lot of how they felt at that moment, a lot of emotions. Catherine feeling left out, wanting a place in his life and having that trust between them. Vincent is trying to keep their connection at a minimum for their safety, he wants to help her but at the same time being mindful of his and JT's safety from Murfield. From the pilot we see that they have a connection, mostly Catherine's mother's death and him saving her. The second episode is where they establish more of a friendship than just two people with this connection of pretty much being victims of Murfield in a way. Catherine goes to Vincent trying to find out more information about her mom and in a way using him. But in this episode, as they grow closer through being friends, there is also the attraction towards each other that we see especially in the rain argument scene. Another big scene, I think is where she is able to calm the Beast side when they were down in the basement area, which makes their connection even stronger. She has that power over him to be able to calm him down to focus on her. It's not just a connection with Vincent but also with Beast Vincent. The fire escape scene, I hope for more scenes like that. Just talking at the fire escape, but then again he has been inside her room now. Anyways, it shows more of how they want to be in each others life and want to make it work. I think it is their first step in forming a relationship and trust for each other. Oh also the part when he pulls her into the little alley or whatever, I like pause it just to see him holding her close even though it wasn't in a intimate hug or anything romantic. I kinda fan girled a bit just because he was holding her. hahaha. This is one of my favorite episodes along with episodes 6 and 9. ( haha 3, 6, 9, looks like a pattern ) Will Catherine and Vincent see the worth in their relationship and take the risk to be together? I just love this ^. I say it is soo worth the risk. ;D
