more than the review itself i found the comments under the review pretty interesting. i would love us (after the season finishes) to maybe have a discussion aroudn both seasons and identify things that we feel want to be improved and maybe even summarise them and send them to the writers... really everything is perfect with batb but the writing/plot/storylines and consequently character development which sometimes are a bit all over the place. i can see what Lilith is saying about this episode, it was a bit nonsensical if you really sit and think about it..don't get me wrong i still really liked it but i also very much agree with many of the comments under Lilith's review. Why are the comments interesting anapi -season3baby :)? Cause usually they have the same commentors saying the same thing under her reviews and I get bored of that. But I like your idea anapi -season3baby :).

Last year we had the same issues generally writing wise but they did great with the development of the vincat relationship and characters it was less erratic and random. I think I am inclined to write some sort of review of what ibthink needs improvement and send it to them. If it is constructive rather than negative they may take notice who knows. I and I am only saying that not to criticise the show but I genuinely think a few writing changes could just make it perfect.

Great spot of Lizzy D's in the background with Vincent & Cat walking away. I think we are supposed to think thet they did go in there for a few bits and bobs. As you do.

OK, so I did one more time through "Fake Date" and it strikes me Cat is like Velma in Scooby Doo, she's way smarter than the rest and can rattle off pages of dialog at mach six while the others are thinking "that sounds smart but does it really make any sense"? So she rushes over to Gabe's apartment to talk him into being reasonable because maybe she bought his sob-story about murdering his Mom but she finds Gabe sulking over "being used"(?!?) and convinced that he is her "safe haven" so she, bless her heart, finally begins to grasp that he is as crazy as an out-house rat (I cleaned that up a bit) and Gabe presses his luck and Cat has to karate-chop him to death. Meanwhile, Vincent shows up having made a deal to assassinate Gabe in return for favorable treatment when he discovers Cat has beat him to the punch (chop) and, of course, she, with her incredible "Velma-powers", convinces Dr. Keller to bring Gabe back to life - all to the consternation of Dr. Forbes, who can't keep track of Cat's flip-flops. And the final irony is if Cat had accepted the lucky punch, she could have saved Vincent from committing murder and saved Beth from impromptu open-heart surgery. (But we were all getting fed up with Beth anyway, right?)
Man, who writes this stuff?
Oh, right, Sherri and Jenn did this one.

Man, who writes this stuff? Oh, right, Sherri and Jenn did this one. Brains of Velma, with the looks of Daphne! You're right, but I loved this episode. It was flying all over the place at a schizo-frantic pace, but what a ride! This is one episode that I never get tired of watching over and over again. The Cat smack down on Gabe is hilarious every time!

Man, who writes this stuff? Oh, right, Sherri and Jenn did this one. Impromptu open-heart surgery. Classic! I was laughing out loud while reading your post. Bill, there's quite a few on-line review sites that should fire their reviewers and hire you.

Bill, there's quite a few on-line review sites that should fire their reviewers and hire you. You are way too kind. At least I can agree with the first part ...
