I really enjoyed it as well, but Heather has GOT to quit being such a busy body!! I know she means well, but she is driving me up the wall. It's time for girlfriend to hand over the keys to the apt. Did anyone get why it wouldn't look good for Catherine to have been at the houseboat when it exploded? I really didn't understand the logic behind that. Also.. small silly thing to notice, but a couple of things stood out to me.
First, how is it that Bob and Carol, having presumably, just gotten out of the water a short time before knocking on the door, are all nice and dry and sweet smelling so to speak?? I mean wouldn't they have had to clean up and dry up??
Secondly, how is it that Vincent and Catherine, having just been literally blown into the water, are now suddenly fairly dry? I know it's the magic of tv, but small details like that, tend to drive me crazy.
Loved, loved, LOVED the scene where JT is trying to figure out what super powers he may or may not have. That was just too darn cute of a scene and totally reminded me of Season 1 JT.
Still not digging the JTnT anymore, which is a shame.. cause I really was starting to like them last season.. up till the finale that is. Never did really feel the love in that episode.
Also.. it's a kind of a shame that Bob and Carol are the "enemy" so to speak. Kinda liked them a little bit.

It's late here, so maybe tomorrow I'll write a little more on my thoughts, but i really loved this episode! Loved it a whole lot more than 3x02. Loved VinCat interactions, the pace of the episode, and I enjoyed bob&carol too, esp their interactions with VinCat! Even JT&T were great imo. Yes, they were great, but like some of you I feel their chemistry is dying out a bit. More later.

Some early thoughts - will need to sleep on it. 1. Cat kicking ass! But she took a few lumps later as well. 2. Nice fast moving episode - almost gripping edge of seat stuff at times. 3. Some progression on the experiments at least, although the "mythological mystery" involving Rebecca Reynolds still needs some elaboration. 4. I kinda like Tess as Captain. Selfishly it also means she is better equipped to help protect Cat. 5. JT gets a bigger role than just being the loyal sidekick. 6. Agree with some of the previous posts about niggling continuity errors. The explosive were placed just above the waterline, so explosions should have started from BELOW and sunk the boat, rather than exploding fireballs from the top. I'm putting it down to artistic licence, but it does bug me. But then again, glad to see the houseboat GONE. 7. Initially when Cat and Vincent were talking about the wedding in 6 weeks, my mind flashed to the title of one of the upcoming episodes but as of this episode, the brakes seem to have been applied. 8. I was right about Vincent waking up dazed after a shift at work! All you doubters who feared something worse (like Heather!) can take that! (kidding ok)

This is cruel and unusual punishment, torture in the extreme. I NEED MORE DETAILS PEOPLE!!! Have PITY here! These "hints" of the episode are just NOT enough for this poor pathetic raving US Beastie who has already had a computer completely crash just trying to see 301 early. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me more!
How do Bob and Carol get involved? Are they still alive and kicking by the episode's end? Are they part of the conspiracy?
And was Rebecca Reynolds and mythology stuff specifically mentioned? How so?
And what made JT think he will have super powers?
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, how many VinCat scenes, where are they in the episode, what do you mean by putting on the "brakes"--do you mean as to the wedding? What WAS said about the wedding? AND VINCAT KISSAGE--give it to me straight--how many really romantic scenes are there and detailed descriptions of the various kissage scenes is always GREATLY appreciated!!!

Really people. I am trying to avoid a diplomatic incident in the extreme when I beast-out, lose control, and kidnap a poor Canadian who has simply had the misfortune of having access to this episode before me. HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!! Provide necessary episodic details. You will be saving the world, doing a great service to the nation of Canada and helping to ensure that country's relations with the US do not sour do to uncontrollable beastly urges. Do your civic duty!!! Give me PLOT, give me DETAILS, give me VINCAT KISSAGE!!!!!!!!! (Especially that last one!)

During the airing of 302 in the US, there was a commercial for the CW showing how all their shows are "alike"--basically touted the comic book approach. While I love comic books, what I have always loved MOST about BATB is that it was its own little special niche in entertainment and NOT just like any other CW show. And certainly not a comic book-type. So I am now worried about the orders from the Powers that Be that might state that BATB has to conform to the other CW show's formats. With that fear in mind, is there any specific kind of direction that appears in this episode? Are Bob and Carol comic-bookish? Does this episode seem to head BATB in that type of direction OR is the new conspiracy a new kind of Muirfield? Why wouldn't Bob and Carol try to work with VinCat if they are all in pursuit of the same information?

Ok I've seen the episode this morning at 5 am so I need to re-watch it to understand better all the dialogs (sometimes they speak very fast and my english is not so good). I can say right now that this was a very good episode, with a lot action packed moments and some Vincat cuteness. I've really enjoyed all the 3 episodes for different reasons. Vincat interaction in their normal life is so real (they remind me last year while I was planning my wedding). And no gem's power this time!!!! Ok Cat, you now have the proof that Vincent is capable to control his beast otherwise when Heather comes, awakes him and starts telling him about the wedding plans... Goodbye Heather! Every other normal man would have beasted out!

Wow I'm really loving season 3, it became such an interesting season. I usually love it for all the VinCat moments, but now the story lines are just so good. Since the Beast of Wall street some of the VinCat moments have died out, & the show knows it too, they acknowledge it. We do get a cute roof scene this episode, but since they have so much on their plates right now they have no time for e.o. I'm waiting for them to hit us with a big VinCat moment, cause thats what usually happens when they don't give us enough of them.
Overall the action was amazing, the storyline was good, The whole episode is mostly VinCat, but them working as a team more than a couple. I think many people will enjoy this episode. I kind of wished maybe something could of happened to Cat so that way Vincent could save her, I miss those moments.

I wachted it... Just a little frustatred because there is Vincat but not EPIC vincat... miss them when they must have to save each other or romantic stare, love... there is lot of action and we saw lot of Vincat. JTnT for me are not credible so i can say that it was a good episode but not like S1 or end of S2 it's just happening!! Waiting 3×04 kiss Beasties from France

I was not even planning to write anything here but there we go, it will be a brief one. Won’t be writing a full review cause it would pretty much mirror my previous review o f 302. This was an entertaining action focused episode (at quite a basic level – i watch other shows for kick ass action to be fair). The time went by pleasantly and quite fast, I was not bored. However, this is yet again another non memorable, dialogue lacking, script poor episode in my opinion. What they have done well this season so far is create some sort of continuity and natural flow from episode to episode but they have lost what is most important to me with this show and why i fell in love with the show in the first place. The heart and soul of the show is the relationship between Vincent and Catherine, which after episodes 2 and 3 I am currently really not interested in. I don’t care about boring and meaningless wedding planning talk and I do not care about lifeless, non passionate interactions which leave me with no feels. Vincent and catherine have not been together for 500 years and this is not what i want to watch on my tv screen, where is the real romance? I real feel sherri’s and jennifer’s absence – they really could write vincat. Moreover, the episode, though action based, did not really create any sense of real danger or angst and had many plot holes (for example, cat figured out bob and carol were faking it after a two second phone call yet no issue at the precinct? Shall i just walk in the precinct and pretend I am the president of the united states?). The idea of bob’s and carol’s super powers was pretty cool and the houseboat face off was good but overall the episode was just lacking IMO. It also feels that they have 13 episodes in total and they are rushing through the storyline in a pace that does not allow any breathing space at all – again that is not great IMO. They need to find the right balance between action, real vincat type romance and meaningful dialogue. At the moment I am far from impressed and if they carry on like that for much longer I know I will be much less engaged with the show....
