I'm not sure Cat/Tess could have thought that fast to put on a fake CPR show for their co-workers. The amount of thought that some of you posters put into deconstructing these episodes is impressive. I think I pick up on a lot of things, but I obviously miss a lot too. Not sure you're missing anything, @dave Being a Beast, my mind automatically goes toward pretending CPR but choking the very life out of Carol... and if anyone could pull it off, Catherine could (picture S2's image of Gabe transfixed on pool-cue). As for all this talk about "repetitiveness", that's how they taught exposition at the high school Brad Kern attended (failed to graduate; GED online). One can imagine when we reach the final episode of this season, we will all have to sit through 3/4 of an episode of dialog we've heard before... We can only hope for the speedy re-introduction of some Heather-inspired fluff to slow down the speechifying. @dave and I can cringe in unison.

No I completely understand that. What bothered me however was that they didn't even "pretend" to CPR on Carol. Here they are in a police station, with a suspect, who dies under "mysterious" circumstances. Quite naturally, this is gonna raise a whole heck of a lot of questions. So consequently, under "normal" circumstances, even though Cat knew that Carol was ' dead dead' and sure as heck there would be no point in attempting to revive her, she and Tess just stand there looking at Carol, and don't even put on a show, to make it look like they were attempting to do CPR. That's what bugs me. I get that she understood why Carol did it and totally sympathized with her. But Tess did do CPR on Carol. If you watch the scene again, Cat, I think, then puts her hand on Tess' shoulder and tells her that it won't do any good. pippin, you are absolutely correct! I just finished watching 305 again and yes Tess immediately began compressions on Carol's chest. She did make a serious attempt until Cat told her Carol was gone. The rewatches are great because they can confirm what you saw, resolve what you thought you saw and help you catch what you missed when you blinked! I love my rewatches!!! Chattiness aside I am loving the ride of Season 3!

GED online? I'd like to see proof of that! I actually kind of liked Heather in S1. Brought guys to the apartment for action and then had awkward morning after encounters with Cat. Gave Cat grief for various things she deserved it for. Heather had flair back then. Now, there's very little complexity to the character......other than the few brief glimpses some of you have mentioned. Hopefully later this season and in S4 they will give Nicole something substantial to sink her teeth into. Maybe they have.....I don't read the SEO spoilers section so wouldn't know. Regarding the CPR incident. I believe their training would be to not give up on CPR until the paramedics arrived......even if they knew the person was gone. Another eye-brow raiser.

Previously on BATB, I went on vacation and a LOT OF <edited> HAPPENED; Bob and Carol (NEW NEMISI/NEMISISES???) blew up the houseboat (NO!), Tess made captain (YES!), JT became invincible (OKAY!), Cat and Vincent realized they are co-dependent while in therapy (THANK GOD THEY ARE IN THERAPY!), and Heather tried to give VinCat her wedding (OH HEATHER!). I’ll try to get recaps for the 3 episodes I missed next week (FINGERS CROSSED!).smartladieslovestuff.com/television/dumbtv/smart-ladies-love-dumb-tv-batb-recap-the-most-dangerous-beast
