I loved episode my only gripe is and it's purely a personal one us that once again JTandT get their smoch time but Vincat get not even a peck after everything Vincent went through I seriously hope this changes in season 4 after all only two episodes left. Really liked Heather in this episode and how she helped with info and also reasuured Cat that Vincent wouldn't go primal again just like JT did. Like many I to wish they had brought in Liam earlier he's such a badass definently the best obe they've had even worse than Gabe so for me I think he should have been brought in earlier. I did feel the love between Vincat and just wish as the saying goes actions speak louder than words. Loved the look that Vincent gave Heather when he wanted to go and talk with Cat and for me if Heather had got the hint I did'nt feel like he meant a talk by taking a walk outside but maybe on the roof or another room but as usual Heather stayed put. The walk was nice and love the hand holding and hug at the end. Hope soneone can help me out but after Liam first show's up in Cat's apartment and after Vincent goes after him and then comes back and he's talking with Cat and JT about makibg Liam think that he will help him does he call Cat babe or baby at sonetine because that's what it sounded like. Loved to seeing the photo if Vincent on the mantel and it was the one that Cat took fro Alex's photo's that she had kept of Vincent, it's nice to see some photo's if him out and havibg the bride and groom figure on their too, now we just need the real wedding photo on display I know it might sound like I did'nt enjoy the episode but I did and will definently watch it again once I go and do myself a cuppa of coffee.

On bolded periods!!! 100% agree. When he put down the glass and said "that will be a problem for tomorrow" and looked at Heather reminds me of "Fake date" when he asked everyone to go out because he had to spend his last free night with his girlfriend. Obviously Heather won't come out and maybe would be too harsh from Vincent asking to his sister-to-be to leave the house in late night... and I'm ok that they are not teens anymore to make up in public... but... a kiss, a little kiss!!! For the rest the episode was amazing and it really tight up all happened in the mithological part in S2: now we understand why Vincent seemed to have lost the biggest part of his power and I loved the last scene between Vincent and Liam on the rooftop. Vincent, as at the beginning of S2, pretends complicity with Liam in order to throwing him down the rooftop when Liam is human and not in alert mode: that could be a way to test how strong he is when he is not a beast and how long it takes Liam to convey his beast powers. In fact at the beginning Liam's fall is bound to end disastrously not like when they jumped between the two palaces. but near the end when his primal part comes out and Liam gestured like a cat turning himself to falls standing. In my opinion this time gap could be the key that will help Vincent defeating Liam (I do not think Vincent really believed to kill Liam this time in this simple way)

I liked the episode a lot. Liam is the best 'Evel" ever!!!!. The beast part and the storyline were great! KK were really beautiful in that blue dress... But, I cannot hide my deception... not a gesture of affection between Vincat while they were having that deep conversation with JT in Cat's apartment, not even a single touch... No kiss in the whole episode... Is it normal to get more emotive in JT and Tess scene that in Vincat scene??? I do not think this is right: the show is about VINCAT!!!!! Sorry, I had to say that with someone and the forum is the only place that I have to talk about it... I swear I will stpo clompain.... I am trying... But, yes. I like the path the story is going and I am anxious for next episode!!!!

It feels like the romance has shifted this season. I midly enjoy JTnT but for me THE romance of the show is VinCat. But lately it seems that they've been overshadowed by JT and Tess... So frustrating. Other than that, I enjoyed the episode. Loved the acting dynamic between Jason and Jay (you gotta give props to Liam for trying to break the deep connection Vincent has with Catherine, but all the attempts failed!), and how Liam's backstory ties up with the mythology. Something that bothered me continuity-wise is the fact that JT seemed to state that Tess really started to love him when he became superhuman (-ish)...Hello? She loved him in S2, way before the serum even existed!

That is the downside to this being 311 before the big reveal on Liam. Now, there are only 2 episodes left after this one to tie up the whole Liam thing. Now granted, the Liam thing should be resolved by a fight, but even the he-who-shall-never-be-named-again from last season took HOW many episodes to be dealt with? However, the actual fight between Vincent and G only took one episode. So I am guessing that is what will happen here. Which is a shame, because Liam has SO much potential.
Having lived for so long, Liam has set up Alistair and others and managed to survive ALL attempts, including Bob and Carol and anything ELSE Julianna may have sent after him. I mean, Scotland Yard and INterpol and who knows WHO all were after him, and he has escaped unscathed. So I dislike the idea of getting rid of such a worthy big-bad so quickly.
(AND I have not even BEGUN to deal with the fact that there are only 2 episodes left for this WHOLE season after I FINALLY FINALLY get to see this episode on Thursday! Please insert dreadfully sad emoticon here!)

While I liked that the episode had some things I didn't expect like Liam popping up in the cafe and hanging JT, had some funny lines, and fleshed out of the Liam character, I can't say that there's any scene in it I feel like rewatching for the character interactions or the acting which is what I enjoy. When I rewatch this episode it will be more to figure out where they are trying to go with the storyline or some dialogue I missed. Like I thought Cat knew about there being another beast in Rebecca and Al's day? Maybe it will turn out that Liam and Al were brothers???

And I wish they would've introduced Liam sooner, geez so much potential there especially since how he is tied into Ralister.

I agree with all the parts in bold except for Liam being brought in earlier. I think the pacing and introduction of Liam has been just right. Vincent looked like he wanted to do more than talk with that "come hither" look. Heather annoys me with her denseness. Vincent and Catherine have jobs in between sleuthing for beasts, is it really so hard to imagine that they would LOVE to have some down time without her in their apartment? ?? Picture of Vincent on the mantle? I MUST rewatch STAT!

It makes more sense that Liam was Alistair. But that's just me, I hate plot lines that don't blow my socks off.

After watching the episode I agree that Liam is really great as the bad guy and wish that he had been introduced earlier. What I also like about Liam is that as a beast he is different from all the other beasts we have seen so far. I think the different Arcs for the seasons are starting to make some sense. In season 1 we knew of 2 beasts, Gabe and Vincent who were a result of Muirfield experiments. Then we thought that they were a result of experiments that involved mixing of the DNA of different species. Muirfield, the organisation being the big bad. In season 2 they planted the idea of the beast being a product of some ancient prototype beast and introduced Alistair and Rebecca and in season 3 they have developed that idea further with Liam being 200 years old and an original beast somehow tying him to Rebecca and Alistair.
When the whole Rebecca journal thing was introduced I wondered where they were going with it but now it's starting to make more sense. Especially when Kat had to admit that she has to stop trying to protect Vincent because that is what got Alastair killed because Rebecca went to a lot of trouble to protect him which kinda of ties in with the marriage counsellor episode. I am also glad that they have started to give Heather some meaningful things to work with and making her useful.
The other reason why I am enjoying watching Liam, besides the fact that he is a unique beast in that he is 200 years old Unlike the the other beasts we have come across who were recently made and quickly burned out is that his approach with Vincent is different. He is trying to befriend Vincent although in a manipulative and annoying way using threats. Vincent has never really had a beast friend. All the beasts he came across were confrontational and were trying to kill him. But not Liam, he is trying to befriend him in his own twisted way and make him see things his own way as he believes that he should embrace being a beast and I think he wants the 2 of them to be some sort of tag team. I can't help but think that Liam seems to see Vincent as a young brother and wants to take him under his wings and show him how to be truly a beast. Liam reminds me of Bob in season 2 when he tried to manipulate Kat and turn her against Vincent under the guise of being a caring father. And I really couldn't help but admire the way that Liam calls Catherine by her full name. No one else does that, Vincent used to but not so much anymore. I couldn't help but laugh at the way that Vincent was being made to go along with Liam against his will like a kid who is being force marched to tend to a chore against their will and making faces along the way.
About JT & Tess getting more loving screen time my guess is that since the episode was emotional for them with JT possibly dying they thought that maybe they should give them some focus. Otherwise if Vincat were to get their own moment everyone would be talking about how hot that scene was and steal the thunder from JT & Tess big dying moment

You totally nailed it: I love the playful dynamic between these two. I'm sure that in his own mind, Liam feels like Vincent is missing out on his beast life. Also, Liam seems to believe that love is vain and I'm looking forward to learning what kind of experience he went through to justify his mindset.

Unfortunately, I don't think part of Liam's endgame is to BEFRIEND Vincent or take him under his wing. He wants to make Vincent feel that he wants to be 'beast buddies' as he puts it, but I think Vincent has a better idea of what's really going on. The whole episode of getting Vincent to work with Liam was so that Liam could prise him away from Cat. All the jibes of you're like a domesticated pet, on a leash etc. were to get Vincent to turn to his beast side and turn away from Cat. He knows that Vincent is the only one who can defeat him and this can only happen when Cat is by his side. So he's trying to divide and conquer, as Heather put it. Vincent knows this. He's no fool and he tells Cat at the end, we've got him, he's scared of us, he's shown his hand. What Liam actually wants to do is gain Vincent's trust and then destroy him.
Also, on the romance angle, I think this episode was pretty intense and, other than the quick scene in Cat's hallway and at the end, on a crowded street, Vincent and Cat were not actually alone at any time in this episode. I think they do not go in for public displays of affection. Vincent, especially comes across as being quite shy and private, having been a near recluse for 10 years. I think they have kissed once in front of JT (who looked away as he clearly thought it was a private moment) and once in front of Heather (at the rehearsal party, and she told them off for jinxing the wedding). Of course we, as an audience are allowed to see their most intimate moments but JT, Tess and Heather are not. There was physical contact between them, when Vincent was sitting on the coffee table across from Cat, he was holding her hand and making eye contact to reassure her that he was OK with the whole primal thing, that she could trust him and she had nothing to worry about. At the end, it was so naturall to see them walking down the street, holding hands and grabbing some time to talk. They were totally on the same page, and ready, as a couple, for the challenge that lies ahead. Nothing could be more romantic than that. Put yourself in their shoes, if you can. Would you be saying 'There's a super-charged beast out to kill us, all our friends, and a mass of other innocent people, so lets go home and make out'?

Well, the only thing I am hoping now is that as they didn't disappointed us with the proposal, they will make us very happy with the wedding! That's the only thing I ask! Please, please, please...

I don't know or understand if or how Vincent and Liam are related other than being a beast, but Liam at this time doesn't know yet that Rebecca is an anchestor of Cat ( he knows a lot on her friends but in fact she has another last name) and that the Scooby Gang knows that he is 200 yr old, so maybe the former idea of Liam on how to use Vincent would change turning to personal revenge for things from the past

So I went back and in Deja Vu, Cat did reference the beast that was after R n A so Heather's news from London shouldn't have been a surprise. Guess Cat did get hit in the head. Ha ha.
And am I the only one who thought the episode was going to end with a cliffy of them showing Liam returning to Cat's apartment and attacking Heather? I thought that was going to be the purpose of that odd moment in the apartment where it first looked like Vincent was waiting for Heather to leave but when she didn't, Cat and V leaving her alone to go for a walk.
