I can't take it! Episode was freaking awesome! The suspense the entire episode was killing me! Like I'm the back of my head I always subconsciously know that the fab4 will make it, but this episode I was almost second guessing myself! I literally was on the edge of my seat and couldn't even predict what was going to happen next. The level of suspense we haven't seen imo this season. And all the things that came together re:Julianna, patient x, her brother, JT & Vincent I was never expecting it to weave together the way it did' Liam is pure evil!
Nice VinCat scene at the end. Loved the kiss...not making out, but more than a peck! And Jay played v in that scene so perfect! I really felt his agony, worry, his sadness, and other emotions. And cat reassuring him was so sweet!
Only minor issue I had is JTnT got more of a kiss/make out whatever than VinCat! Didn't bother me too much since I think they are cute, but not feeling their chemisty this season

I had to remember myself that our fav team would be OK at the end. too. Everything was consistent and even when romance was not the target both couple scenes were very cute. Last scene was great, we can understand where Vin and Cat are coming from and how old Vincent'fears come back once more. I need to rewatch to pay attention to the details but for sure I can't wait for the next one!

AWESOME!! AWESOME!! AWESOME!! AWESOME!!! episode The suspense!!! just ahhgg terrific!! this kind of episode leaves you wanting to know more!! Well lets say that V was a little grumpy, he yelled Cat twice.... of course all the emotions that he has about Liam and scared for JT, acted perfectly Cat supportive and trusting V all the time JT was funny in the hotel room, not wanting to put his hand to anything, due to bacteria Tess: very very supportive and romantic protecting her guy The fab4, was incredible, I enjoy the scene were Tess and Cat are shooting together to Liam Everything was well done! Liam, was reaaally baddie this time, he kills an old lady that was sooo sad!! I like this superbeast, he is Bad, inhuman, mysterious.... He is a good actor The final scene: I like that Vincat sits facing each other and look into the eyes.. Awwwwww!! Vincents eyes!! saying their concerns and then support each other Of course I watching it again

I loved the episode! Some more heat and it would have been perfect. Liam really gave me the creeps. The story unfolded nicely and was constantly moving forward. Vincat had a good balance, even if I still miss the hot stuff alongside the loving. Nice acting from everybody and I wish I could just hug V forever. He's really hurt all the time! Did not feel the JTnT still, even if I love their friendship and that sort of chemistry. I've still not gathered all my thoughts on the episode, but this was the first one since the first ep this season that I could not wait to come hear to comment about. Also I think all-in-all it was the greatest this season so far and topped most of the season 2 episodes as well. Well done! Can't wait to watch that again!

GREAT! GREAT! GREAT episode! A lot of suspense and I think it was well written, because it made sense and you could feel what each character was feeling, especially, VINCAT! And I must say that I really liked Cat on this episode, I saw the old Cat, finally! And I really liked in the beggining of the episode when she was caressing the statue of the grooms... I felt she loves Vincent, was afraid to loose him and sad about the wedding's dream.... Do you undesrtand me? The kiss in the end was not the one I was hoping for, but, at least, she was with her hand in his leg all the time and you could feel lhe love between them... and the hug... I want to see the next episode right now!!!!!!!

I want to see the next episode right now!!!!!!! I loved this episode but it was also sad as I felt Vincent's pain at the end and saw his fear. The kiss was all about this and what he could lose, what it could cost him if he goes after Liam. It wasn't a moment for a full-bloodied make-out session. He hugged Cat like his life depended on it, like he was scared of losing her. I kinda guessed that Liam was a beast when Vincent seemed to be tuning into him rather than tracking him. His manner and speech became more aggresive aswell which is also a sign there is another beast nearby. Remember the way he was when he first met Curt Windsor and Tori. The ripping out of Windsor's heart. This is definately going to be Vincent's biggest test yet, of his fighting skills and his humanity. We thought Gabe 2.0 was baddass but Liam is a beast and super-human too. Bullet-proof and seemingly without any mercy or empathy. No wonder Vincent is worried. He has everything to lose by going after him. But go after him he must. Can't see how this is all going to pan out but if and when Vincent and Cat defeat Liam, they will definately deserve their happily-ever-after. That's for sure.

GIVE ME MORE DETAILS, PEOPLE!!! I'm American and unable to view this episode early due to lack of technical know-how (already crashed one computer trying to get 301 early. STILL not heard the end of that one!). So SERIOUSLY need more information on this one, especially given how important Liam obviously is to become to the season-arc. HOW much do we learn about Liam? Why was Juliana experimenting in the first place and was she "tricked" into helping Liam? NEED MORE OF MY PRECIOUS, MY BATB PRECIOUS!!!!!! (Insert salivating beast image here!)

Yes, Julianna was tricked into helping Liam. He claimed he was dying. He basically used her bc he knew that she had experiments she was working on. Julianna started working on injecting others to stop Liam & get revenge. Her brother was her first experiment. And he injected himself to try and stop Liam after Liam came along. And Liam is also a beast!

Ok. I've just watched this episode for the second time and here's a synopsis of the events. It opens with Cat researching Hospice bombings in New York and Europe when Vincent walks in to the apartment. He's just been checking on Alton Finn who has survived nearly losing all his blood in the last episode. Vincent is going out to track Liam and tells Cat not to blame herself for the misjudgment in the last episode but tells her it's time to trust him now. She agrees.
JT now has a SWAT team guarding him and he speaks to Vincent about an email he has received. Vincent thinks it's a trap to get JT into the open and tells JT he'll deal with it. JT calls Alton Finn, who is also being guarded by SWAT to see if he still has any symptoms from the serum. Alton says no super-human powers although he is having nose bleeds. Then we see Liam. He's at the bedside of an old lady in the hospital and he's attached something to her oxygen tank which turns out to be explosive. A student walks into JT's office at the university and is grabbed by Vincent, posing as JT. He and Cat find out that the boy was paid $100 by Liam to provide a decoy so he could go after Alton. Cat takes a call from Tess. Liam has blown up a section of the hospital, killing the old lady and Alton, who was in a bed nearby, together with several other patients and SWAT cops. Cat and Vincent look over the damage at the hospital and Vincent starts to tune into Liam. He talks to Cat, tellinh her something feels very familiar about Liam. Cat is looking into another of Juliana's experiments. A Patient X. She tracks down a possible suspect to a hotel in Queens. It turns out Patient X is Juliana's brother, Russell. He fills in some back story about how Liam tricked Juliana to experiment on him and how Russell injected himself with serum in an attempt to stop Liam. But the plan backfires as Russell didn't get any super-powers and is now very sick. He's been moving around to avoid Liam catching up with him. Cat phones Tess at JT's safe-house and tells her she needs to move JT, somewhere across water to slow Liam down. Vincent bursts in on Cat and Russell, expecting to find Liam. He has tracked him there. Vincent senses explosives in the closet and the three of them just about escape with their lives. Vincent wants to keep tracking Liam rather than getting Russell to safety. He seems angry but follows them to the Precinct. Vincent interogates Russell about Liam and barks orders at Cat, making her and Russell jump. (See the pattern here? Vincent's behaviour is changing. Why do you think that is?)
Cat is looking after Russell, who is also suffering nosebleeds like Alton, when he grabs her gun and makes her hand-cuff herself to the table. He wants Liam to find him (and JT so it happens) in order that Vincent and Cat can stop him once and for all. He tells Cat he doesn't have long to live and wants to know Liam is dead before he dies. He leaves and Cat knows he's going to where JT is. He heard her telling Tess where totake him.
Then we see Tess and JT in an abandoned wharehouse in Brooklyn. They have a moment and kiss when Russell comes in. He is followed by Liam who has tracked JT from the safe-house. Cat and Vincent pull up in a car outside the wharehouse and Vincent says he knows Liam is there. He tells Cat to stun Liam with the gun so he can go in for the kill. Cat is shocked by Vincent's new tone and pulls him back. He shouts at her 'Let go!!!' before going on. Russell shoots Liam several times but he is unharmed and kills Russell by pulling out his heart!!!!. He then sets an explosion. Meanwhile JT and Tess have escaped and are on the move in the wharehouse. Liam catches up with JT and Tess, with another explosive device in his hand and drops it just as Vincent arrives and they start to fight. Tess and Cat shoot Liam repeatedly after he has thrown Vincent across the room but it doesn't stop him for more than a few seconds. Vincent is losing so he has to beast out. Liam is shocked and he too beasts out. There's a mexican stand-off with Vincent and Liam just staring at each other. Liam says something like 'Well this changes everything'. Then he turns to JT and says 'See ya' before blurring away, leaving Tess, Jt. Vincent and Cat looking shocked.
Then there is a scene beyween Tess and Cat at the precinct where they discuss the events and the status of Tess's relationship with JT. Tess admits they are back on. She then goes to JT and moves him to a new safe-house. Jt gets a nose-bleed but hides it from Tess. Then Cat goes home and finds a visably shaken Vincent. He apologises for his behaviour but knows it was the presence of another beast that caused it. He did not like the returning, preditory feelings he got as it reminded him of who he was before he met Cat. She reassures him that he is not that person anymore and now they know what Liam is, they will be ready for him next time. Vincent is not convinced they can stop him. They kiss and Vincent holds her in a tight hug but he still looks troubled.
There it is. Hope I didn't miss anything major out. There was a funny moment when Tess and JT were at the safe-house watching a TV documentary about Lions chasing Zebras. Jt turns if off as he says he's the Zebra at the moment and doesn't want to see it get eaten by the lion.

THANKS THANKS THANKS Alison4Season4!!!!!
And that is INTERESTING about the Beast-amplification thing being related now to ALL beasts and not just Tori. Also would explain why Vincent's WHOLE UNIT in Afghanistan went collectively crazy: the presence of THAT many beasts made them all go loco.
That particular theory is like the Vampire-theory of that old Lifetime show that was based on some graphic novels. For that genre, any one vampire coming into the "territory" or perimeter of another vampire would automatically go into attack/beast mode and could NOT stop until the other vamp was dead or gone.
And that also helps explain the Vincent/Tori dynamic of how they could so easily beast-out and want to fight one another over Dana being tied up. Once Vincent was gone, Tori was saddened and shocked by her own behavior and felt guilty enough to go try to rescue JT on her own. (Nope, still not feeling sorry for her. She's still a vamp loser from trying to take vincent away from cat permanently.)
Also sounds like Liam mya know more about beast history as well. Me likey.

You're welcome alwayscrazedbatbfan. Yes, there were a few examples of Vincent's preditory behaviour in Season 2, because of the proximity of other beasts. That 'Beast of the week' period led him to kill regularly at the start of the season but there was one anomaly. Xavier, the beast he saved from Sam. Why didn't he have those feelings when he was around him. All Vincent wanted to do was save him. Was this because he was trying so hard to show Cat that he had changed from the beast that nearly killed her father? He was also kinda OK with Gabe in season 1, once he knew he was a beast, up until the moment he found out Gabe was trying to kill him to save himself. It does show that there is some hope that Vincent's human side can prevail when he comes up against Liam in the final battle of the season. Cat's presence is the key, as always.
