Anyone notice that Vincent do not beastout in this episode?? that's odd. And what happened to his Beastie lie detector senses when he was talking to Julianna?

Just got done watching live. I always feel like I'm last to the party. Being on the far west in US and sticking to my policy of waiting for the show to air on the CW doesn't help.
Anywho, I liked it a lot!
But I had very high expectations for this episode, just as I did for the season opener. Can't say my expectations were exceeded, but I wasn't let down either. There were many things I loved about the episode, but I also felt something was missing, can't quite put my finger on it.
There's so much to discuss in this episode! I need sometime to internalize my thoughts. Will post more later.

I am often on exactly the same page as Nick when it comes to his episode reviews. This one is no exception, I agree with just about everything he had to say.

I normally wait at least day before doing a re-watch, but this episode was just so jammed packed with all kinds of good stuff I just had to watch it again! Wow, where to begin? 1) I loved all the VinCat moments: - Wedding rehearsal, VinCat are in their own world, just smiling and in love with one another, while the rest of the scooby gang are going nuts with other distractions - Vincent was such a little boy lost, pleading with Cat to go on with the wedding after Cat stormed away from the limo. - I absolutely loved the ending roof top scene. Catherine was so serene, she had made up her mind that it was Vincent that mattered most and she finally let go of her preoccupation of beast hunting and things that go bump in the night. Vincent was just the opposite, realizing their greater purpose & destiny. For me, these two are growing and are becoming mirrors of each other, but at different stages. For example, how Cat lost her humanity and beasted out on Juliana in the previous episode. By the end of the season, I expect to VinCat as totally "completing" one another. For me, these 3 scenes for me showed their epic love, it wasn't verbal "I love you's", but I felt the love in different ways. 2) I thought Nicole was fantastic in this episode. All the actors brought their A games (even if KK and Jay did seem like they had colds), but Heather just kept me chuckling throughout the entire episode. I give Nicole the MVP for this episode. 3) While I highly suspected the wedding might be ruined, the suspense of whether it really would be or not kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time. I thought the entire episode frenetic wild and crazy ride, but I enjoyed the ride! And who doesn't love a wedding episode? 4) I also thought the wardrobe was back on form this episode. Both Vincent and Catherine looked gorgeous in their wedding attire. But Cat should have had a bridal veil to go with that hair style. Actually, I wish she wore her hair down, but that's just a little nit. Vincent in his tux was perfect. Cat in her red dress at the rehearsal dinner was also perfect. But geez, finally Cat is wearing something sexier in bed other than her flannel pajamas but she's sleeping with her sis? huh? 5) I even liked JTnT in this episode. I didn't realize Capt Ward had been promoted the Chief. To me, he's like the stiff by the book kind of cop that somehow keeps getting promoted even though he probably wouldn't be worth a dime out in the real world fighting crime. But man, poor Tess. I wonder if she'll stay captain now, what a mess. And JT never learns. Remember when JT hand cuffed Gabe's assistant/partner (forgot her name) to the radiator in the S1 finale? That didn't turn out well. Now he ties Juliana to the radiator again and look what happens. 6) The limo scene was awesome. I thought it was so sweet when Cat was reading Vincent's note, finally getting into the wedding mood. Then Juliana bursts in, which really caught me by surprise, and right in front of the police precinct?!! Juliana put up much more of the fight this time, she kept kicking Cat in the face over and over. I thought "no, not in the face, not before the wedding!" I could go on and on, for me this episode was just full of neat little things. It was great episode! But I finally figured out what was missing for me, real "angst" to heighten their epic love. I think if Cat or Vincent were seriously injured by Liam or if Liam would have kidnapped one of them or if something else happened to really threaten their "happily ever after" as a cliffhanger for the ep, that would have made it a near perfect episode for me. Oh, and the other thing missing? A passionate VinCat kiss. Still, I liked this episode a lot!

That didn't work out then JT!! lol I was surprised Julianna didn't trick him and escape like Tyler.

This is the KK I love and missed. She was so spot on in this episode with all of her different emotions. I just loved the ending scene on the roof top, KK played this to perfection IMHO. I does suck that we see the episode so late after almost everyone else, I'm in the states as well but on the East coast.

I agree ijustlovebatb. I thought KK was a bit off in the previous episode, but she was wonderful in this one. Her voice really did sound as if she had a cold, which made her performance even more impressive. For once she wasn't the one carrying all the dialogue, which I think allows her to express emotion better. I actually thought all the actors did great in this episode. I'm glad you enjoyed this episode too. This is one of my favorites from S3 so far.
