AlisongladaboutSeason4 that was a tear Vincent was wiping off Catherine's chin. Think it was an unscripted moment but it felt so real. KK was of course tearing beautifully while saying her vows. Thanks for letting me know. I couldn't see as I was watching on a dodgy link on my laptop I'm afraid. I can't wait to watch this episode in HD on my big TV in 4 1/2 weeks time. (Next episode on Thursday in the UK is 'Cats out of the bag' - Episode 9) then I'll be able to see the tear as it rolls down her face. Definately not in the script/stage directions as who was to know. It was a very emotional moment and for once I'm sure Kristen had no trouble tearing up. I was tearing up along with her.

Want to comment a bit more. By far I think the best episode of the season! 301 comes pretty close but the VinCat wedding sealed the deal for me. The VinCat feels the entire episode was perfect. I got chills every time Vincent said I love you so much to Cat. I really felt like you couldn't be sure or he couldn't be sure if it was really gonna be the last time he said it to Cat. The looks they gave each other too was so heart melting. Each interaction they had it was so intense you felt like they felt that at any moment it could be their last moments together. I loved the Fab5 scene at the coffee shop, I love that all of them were finally able to relax and have a few laughs. I found myself laughing & smiling with them. And I can't say enough about the wedding. I thought it was perfect!! Loved the VinCat vows. I feel like almost Jay & Kk just ad-libbed the personal VinCat vows. They were great. I was crying! And the kiss was perfect! It had the right amount of passion in it. Just beautiful. I just can't believe we have to wait 9 months for it to come back. I just want more. This show always leaves me want more:) Totally agree with everything you have said here and on that note I'm off to bed. 1.32am here and was up til 3am last night waiting for that blasted link!!!

Awww!! That was so-o-o good!! I loved this whole episode! For me it had good flow, the right amount of suspense, beast stuff, & romance. For a fantasy, it was believable but not overplayed. I finally gave into the feels & kept saying "awww, that is so cute or sweet or just plain awww!! " By the wedding it was "goodbye, mascara. hello box of tissues". Dare I hope that S04 will be a continuation? After last season, it was "well, that's it?" Now it's, "awww, that was so good." I'd write more, but I'm starting to repeat my little guys!

I'm still on a high from this episode, but I also think it's the best episode of the season and dare I say perhaps better than the S2 finale as well. Just imagine if there was a real dramatic cliff hanger, that would make waiting 9 months sheer agony. At least this way we can rest easily knowing our VinCat has their "happily ever after" for the time being, until all hell breaks loose again as I'm sure it will in S4...

I have never seen a TV wedding more beautiful. Jay and Kristin brought their A game. They still have IT. Gosh, her tears, his voice cracking. I need to rewatch this episode at least dozen times to be able to write a full review but what a finale. Loved every second of it. I've rewatched the wedding scene several times now. I'm no wuss, but I'll admit, I tear up every time. Just the way they gaze at each other and the quiver in their voices as they say their vows, just perfect. This scene slays me, one for the ages.

Totally agree for me to that felt and looked more like a Jay moment than Vincent and for me to his whisper of ' You look beautiful' to seemed more than acting to me in fact the whole moment from when she appeared on the roof and the look's and smiles they exchanged just came across as more than them playing a apart and for most of the season that's been missing but I don't know how too explain it properly and I'm not implying anything as to the status of their relactionship/friendship whatever it is only they know and is rightly their buisness, but the look's and genuine smiles from both of them is what has been missing from most of the season when they've been together apart from episode one and the proposal which is what the kiss reminded me off to, and that's for me what has been missing. I loved the episode once I'd got over my melt down the I Love You felt geuine, the worry on Cat's part over weather Vincent had really died again came across as more genuine than any other time, loved the shout out to the original show with where they had Liam living it was like going back in time to when I was living at home and watching the show every week the hug when she realizes that he's alive and they slowly pan out made me shed a small tear I'll admit and also made me think why oh why could have BKern and the other writer's do Vincat justice and show us more of that side of them this season, instead of giving JTandT the heart felt moments. Have to admit wasn't a fan of the dress especially the beading to much for me especially around the neck liked how it flowed at the back and the colour but the beading defiently and I would have liked to maybe see a few wshipers of hair around Cat's face not a fan of the bun on Cat either for me it makes her look a lot older than what Krisitin is. Did'ntmind the kiss it felt right and loved how just like the propsal Vincent held her face and kissed her twice that was did'nt even mind the light hearted music after such a heavy based season it felt right and seeing Heather and JT do a small dance was nice too. I'm glad too that for the last few episodes they toned down the JTandT show I love them both but it was getting to much and I really hope for season 4 we get more of those smiles, hugs and light hearted moment's between Vincat as they settle into married life and show there love a bit hell no a lot more.

Don't normally comment on Jay's looks as I think it goes without saying that he is a very, very good looking guy. Not smooth and slick but a real man's man. Ideal for the role of the beast, beautiful on the outside but harbouring the animal within. On this occassion I have to break ranks and agree with you. In that suit he looked good enough to eat. I really don't know how Kristen acts opposite him every day and does not fall head over heels in love with him. I know they get on really well and have the utmost respect for each other as actors aswell but OMG, she must be a very strong woman to resist those charms of his and keep it professional. I don't think I could. I am a little bit in love with him myself and I only watch him on my TV/Laptop screen. I will say no more.

Right? That was hands down the most "real" wedding on television. There were so many special moments. I absolutely loved the way they played it out. It wasn't cheesy but it wasn't your typical TV wedding either with the over-the-top speeches and vows. I loved how simple their vows were and that it obviously didn't come out rehearsed. Also I am not sure how the tear wiping could have been scripted, seemed like something Jay would do given how well he knows the character he plays and what Vincent would or wouldn't do in that moment, it felt authentic. I'd like to give my kudos to KK for all those emotions she brought to the scene. Ah-mazing! I have always known she was a good crier but her freakin vein popped out, that's how intense it was. So wonderful. I am still floored how good the scene was. I almost felt like an intruder. lol

Hi lovely beasties it has been a long time since i wrote a post -- basically because it was a crazy very busy summer for me , but also because its kind of different now without all those amazing friends who left the forum ! but since i by some miracle catch up with all the episodes i missed in time with the season final -- and for good old times sake i want to share some thoughts about this season and the final episode with you first after i finished the whole season i still feel the same -- i like this season and enjoyed watching it much more than S2 ! unfortunately in S2 we had those ugly triangles which i really hate in any show and find them the opposite of romance and a big turn off ! imho the triangles in BATB were the worst kind too ! because even the viewers who like love triangles and find them interesting would agree with me that for triangles to work in any show every couple in those has to have some potentials and attractiveness and most important have enough fans that it would be hard to predict which couple is the end game ! and that wasn't the case in BATB ! also love triangles in a show based on and have the title of a fairytale is kind of out of place imho , its like has a love triangle in a show based on ( Romeo & Juliet ) ! so in S3 in stead of those ugly pointless triangles we have a solid couple who never doubt their love or the fact that they belong together --- how i refuse this or take the first over the second ?! ---- and even without triangles in S3 every character of the main characters has its own storyline and i also can feel the present of both the beauty and the beast while in S2 i can't feel neither nor know the point or the role of the other characters because one character took over the whole show in S2 ! that doesn't mean of course the S3 is flawless or perfect ! no of course it has its positives and its negatives but for me its positives are much more than its negatives and i really enjoyed watching it one of the negatives was that they keep ending characters by killing them off ! oh come on ! not just the villains or the enemies but almost every guest star ended up killed ! even if they managed to save them in one point they bring them back to finish the job and kill them off ! only a few who survived that fate ! there must be more creative ways to tie up a storyline and end up a character other than death ! --- which is something i really hope to see in S4 --- and before i cross this point big bravo and thank you for both Reynolds and Liam you both did a great job and i wish if we could have you in S4 and i will miss you in it , especially Liam who is the most villain in BATB history i enjoyed another negative for me is the lack of vincat romantic moments for the benefit of Tess/JT moments ! maybe because they are the new couple in the show they thought beasties would be more interesting on their story that they should give them more time and spot , but they should knew by now that vincat is the heart and soul of the show and is /will always be the most important beloved interested couple in the show for at lest 98% of the viewers ! now about the final episode i only have a few things to say because i already took much of your time i really loved vincat wedding imho its one of the most romantic TV weddings i ever see their vows were also the most romantic lines i saw in TV for a long time i loved Cat's dress more than the first one , its more elegant , classic and looks historical too -- and i love historical costumes , some time i watch historical shows just to watch their costumes lol i liked what Cat said to Liam that Vincent was saved not just because of Cat put also because of him , because of the right choice he made , finally some credit goes to V in that subject , don't get me wrong i am a hopeless romantic and love the idea of the power of true love which save lost souls -- but i also believe that people have freewill and are responsible for their choices , so while its wrong to hold other people the responsibility of the wrong choices we made , it also our right to take credit for the right choices we made ! looking forward for S4 although it will be a long wait -- again hope it will be better than the previous 3 seasons and satisfy all the beasties , thank you all dear friends for every thing

BeastieBoy, hats off to your wife! What a lucky woman! If we only could get her into the DEN! Unfortunately, nothing short of injecting my wife with some beast serum will convert her into a beastie. This den, sadly, is my guilty pleasure alone. I actually feel like I cheated, cause I watched it without my wife. I'll watch it again with her when it airs on the CW. But I'm actually out of town on a biz trip that week. That's partly why I decided to watch it early, since I can't watch it live. Anyway, I really thought it was great finale! It hit all the right buttons for me. Can't wait for others to see it. That is so very funny, BeastieBoy! Maybe it would be a great gift anniversary gift for you!
